This is a bit of a random post, but these are some things I am really excited about right now. I hope they give you a bit of a boost to help you through the last hours of the work week and/or get the weekend started off on the right foot with some new inspiration.
A true love life story: Kenzie and Andrew – I am really sad that I can’t be there, but I am sooooo excited for two of my best friends from college (university) to get married tomorrow!!! We all lived together down the hall from each other on the same floor of the dormitory for our first year studying in Madison and in the same apartment building for two years after that. Theirs is a wonderful friendship turned romance, and I have no doubt that it will be a beautiful wedding and marriage. I am so glad I got to be there at the beginning, and I am excited to see what’s in store for you guys in the years to come. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Big hugs, and CONGRATULATIONS!
P.S. Kenz – I stole your photo from facebook. Hope you don’t mind!
Music: Emeli Sande – Next To Me – If you haven’t heard this song, please listen. I don’t think it needs any further explanation. Note: I initially posted the acoustic version, which is also great, but this is the one I meant to post. Hope you enjoy it!
Puff Pastry – I swear, this stuff would make anything look and taste better. And it is so easy to use, I want to cook with it every day. More puff pastry recipes to follow shortly!
Do-it-yourself wooden photo – I can’t wait to try some simple DIY decorating projects soon, and you can never have too many pictures. I can’t at least. Here is a project I am really looking forward to trying.
Refreshing drink – Especially when the weather is gray and rainy, it is nice to close the curtains, crank up the heat, and have a refreshing drink at the end of the week. My drink of choice tonight is Greenall’s Gin and Pink Grapefruit. It is Friday after all.
I am headed out for a run, then looking forward to a cozy night in.
Happy Friday Everyone! Have a great weekend!
And congratulations again to Kenzie and Andrew. I hope you have a magical, fun-filled weekend! I am already looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories.
What are you particularly loving this week?
